B.12. AGREEMENT FOR SERVICES WITH JJLA FOR EVENT PRODUCTION\nSERVICES IN THE RAINBOW DISTRICT [L. BIERY, P. KESPRADIT, L.\nD’AMBROSIA]:\nSUBJECT: The City Council will consider approving an Agreement for\nServices with JJLA to provide event production services in the Rainbow\nDistrict.\nRECOMMENDATIONS: 1) Approve an Agreement for Services with JJLA\nin an amount not to exceed $100,000 for Event Production Services in the\nRainbow District; 2) Authorize the City Manager or designee to execute\ndocuments incident to the Agreement; 3) Approve the waiver of Special\nEvent Permit Fees, Parking Meter Fees, Building & Safety Generator\nPermit Fees, and Encroachment Permit Fees associated with the\nproduction of events in the Rainbow District, in an amount not to exceed\n$17,300 in waived fees; and 4) Approve the waiver of Temporary\nPeddler’s License Permit Fees and Business License Tax Fees for\nvendors participating in events and activations in the Rainbow District, in\nan amount not to exceed $6,700 in waived fees.
