A.9. AUTHORIZATION TO AWARD AN AGREEMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL\nCONSULTANT ARCHITECTURAL AND ENGINEERING DESIGN\nSERVICES TO SVA ARCHITECTS, INC. FOR THE MORENO VALLEY\nSENIOR CENTER EXPANSION PROJECT NO. 803 0057 (Report of: Public\nWorks)\nRecommendations:\n1. Award an Agreement for Professional Consultant Services to SVA\nArchitects, Inc. to provide architectural and engineering design\nservices for the Moreno Valley Senior Center Expansion project in the\namount of $399,078.00;\n2. Authorize the City Manager to execute the agreement with SVA\nArchitects, Inc.;\n3. Authorize the issuance of a Purchase Order to SVA Architects, Inc. in\nthe amount of $399,078.00 when the agreement has been signed by\nall parties using the approved Facility Construction funds (Fund 3000);\nand\n4. Authorize the City Manager to execute any subsequent Amendments\nto the Agreement with SVA Architects, Inc. within Council approved\nannual budgeted amounts, including the authority to authorize the\nassociated purchase orders in accordance with the terms of the\nAgreement, subject to the approval of the City Attorney.
