7. AWARD OF COMMUNITY PROMOTIONAL FUNDS TO THE BARSTOW CHAMBER OF\nCOMMERCE FOR THE 2025 MAIN STREET USA FESTIVAL AND ADOPTION OF A\nRESOLUTION XXX-2025 OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BARSTOW\nTEMPORARILY CLOSING CERTAIN STREETS IN ACCORDANCE WITH CALIFORNIA\nVEHICLE CODE SECTION 21101(E) FOR THE MAIN STREET USA FESTIVAL\nRecommended Action:\n1. That the Council approve in-kind donations in the form of fee waivers totaling $8,842.12 for\nthe closure of Main Street between Barstow Road and 1st Avenue on October 11, 2025 and\n2. Adopt Resolution No. XXX-2025, temporarily closing certain streets within the City of Barstow\nin accordance with California Vehicle Code Section 21101(e) for the Main Street USA Car\nShow, and waive the full reading.
