13. CONSIDER THE AWARD OF CONTRACT TO EPIC SURFACES FOR THE\nRESURFACING\nOF\nTENNIS\nCOURTS\nAT\nGARFIELD\nPARK\nAND\nTENNIS/PICKLEBALL COURTS AT ORANGE GROVE PARK IN THE AMOUNT OF\n$51,150\nRecommendation\nIt is recommended that the City Council:\n1. Award a contract to Epic Surfaces in the amount of $51,150 to resurface two\nexisting tennis courts at Garfield Park and two existing tennis/pickleball courts at\nOrange Grove Park;\n2. Authorize a contingency of up to ten-percent (10%), or $5,115, to address any\nunforeseen conditions or change orders;\n3. Authorize transfer of unused State and Local Recovery Funds (SLRF), currently\nappropriated to the Grevelia/Berkshire Pocket Parks project, to fund the proposed\nResurfacing Project; and\n4\n4. Authorize the City Manager, or designee, to execute the agreement and all related\ndocuments.
