A.7. ACCEPT THE CALIFORNIA AUTOMATED PERMIT PROCESSING\nPROGRAM FUNDING GRANT AWARD (Report of: Community\nDevelopment)\nRecommendations:\n1. Accept the California Automated Permit Processing Program (CalAPP)\nfunding grant award of $100,000 administered through the California\nEnergy Commission, to fund the implementation of SolarAPP+ and\ncomply with the provisions of SB 379;\n2. Authorize the City Manager, or his designee, to execute for and on\nbehalf of the City of Moreno Valley, agreements and other related\ndocuments required by the California Energy Commission, subject to\nthe approval of the City Attorney; and\n3. Authorize the Chief Financial Officer, or his designee, to make any\nnecessary budget adjustments as recommended in the Fiscal Impact\nsection of this report.
