If the City Council concurs, the appropriate motion would be to: 1.\nIntroduce, waive further reading and read by title only, Ordinance1719\nAdopting by Reference the 2025 California Building Code, 2025 California\nResidential Code, 2025 California Electrical Code, 2025 California Mechanical\nCode, 2025 California Plumbing Code, and 2025 California Fire Code, with\nCertain Amendments, Additions and Deletions, Amending Title 9 of the Seal\nBeach Municipal Code, and Approving a CEQA Exemption Determination;\nand, 2. Direct staff to schedule a duly-noticed public hearing for October 13,\n2025, prior to second reading and adoption.
