18.\nAWARD CONTRACT: TRAFFIC SIGNAL AND STREET LIGHTING SERVICES –\nF2M25-31, RFP2M25-5, C2M25-41, M2M25-144\nOn March 24, 2025, the City Council approved the distribution of Request for Proposals\nNo. RFP2M25-5 for Maintenance Services for Traffic Signals and Street Light Services.\nOn July 7, 2025, the City received proposals from three companies. Staff reviewed and\nevaluated the responding proposals and found the proposal submitted by Yunex LLC\nconforms to the RFP and received the highest rating. Companies were evaluated based\non knowledge and experience, availability of staff personnel and resources, experience\nwith similar kind of work, understanding of scope and requirements, understanding of the\nCity of Alhambra, references, and overall costs.\nRecommended Action:\nCity Council award contract, subject to final language\napproval by the City Manager and City Attorney, to Yunex LLC for maintenance services\nfor Traffic Signal and Street Lighting Services, not to exceed $240,000 each fiscal year,\ncommencing on October 1, 2025 and ending on June 30, 2026 (year 1, thereafter\ncommencing annually on July 1), with the option to extend services for an additional four\n(4), one-year terms if services are satisfactory; authorize the City Manager or designee to\nexecute the contract and extensions subject to satisfactory performance and budget\nallocation; and, direct staff to undertake the steps necessary to finalize the Council’s\naction.
