12.2\nReorganization and Selection of Mayor/Chairperson\nRECOMMENDATION: The City Council may consider by motion to\norganize and select a Mayor/Chairperson and Mayor Pro Tem/Vice\nChairperson at such time as majority of the Council shall so order per\nBell Gardens Municipal Code 2.04.020(c).\nCONCLUSION: Bell Gardens Municipal Code 2.04.020(c) and\nGovernment Code 36801 provides Council the option to organize and\nselect a mayor/chairperson and mayor pro tem/vice chairperson at\neither: (1) the first regular meeting in December in odd-numbered\nyears; (2) at the time designated by applicable provisions of the\nGovernment Code for even-numbered years; or (3) at such other time\nas a majority of the council shall so order.\nFISCAL IMPACT: None.\nATTACHMENT: None.
