11.14 Consideration of a Resolution Approving a Contract Services\nAgreement with West Coast Arborists, Inc. for Citywide Tree\nMaintenance Services\nRECOMMENDATION: It is staff’s recommendation that the City\nCouncil adopt the attached Resolution authorizing the City Manager\nto execute a Contract Services Agreement with West Coast Arborists,\nInc. (“WCA”) for Citywide Tree Maintenance Services.\nCONCLUSION: Based on West Coast Arborists, Inc.’s proposal rating,\nstaff is recommending that the City Council award West Coast\nArborists, Inc. a three-year Contract Services Agreement, effective as\nof October 12, 2025, with two optional one-year extensions, for an\nannual amount not-to-exceed $337,719 to provide citywide tree\nmaintenance services.\nFISCAL IMPACT: The annual Contract Services Agreement cost is\n$337,719, which will be split between two fiscal years. The current FY\n25/26 budget includes $235,000 from the General Fund for tree\nmaintenance services.
