11.9\nConsideration of a Resolution Authorizing the City of Bell\nGardens to Participate in the Memorandum of Agreement\nBetween the Los Angeles Interagency Metropolitan\nApprehension Crime Task Force and the Los Angeles County\nProbation Department for Community Probation Supervisory\nLaw Enforcement Mutual Aid\nRecommendation: It is staff’s recommendation that the City Council\nadopt the attached Resolution authorizing the Chief of Police to\nparticipate in the Memorandum of Agreement between the Los\nAngeles Interagency Metropolitan Apprehension Crime Task Force\nand the Los Angeles County Probation Department for Community\nProbation Supervisory Law Enforcement Mutual Aid.\nConclusion: If the Chief of Police is authorized to participate in the\nMOA, the City will work with LA Impact and Probation to improve\npublic safety and ensure effective community supervision of adult\nprobationers.\nFiscal Impact: The City will be reimbursed for expenses incurred.\nAttachments:\nExhibit 1 - Resolution No. 2025-91\nExhibit 2 - Memorandum of Agreement
