9D.\nPROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT FOR THE ORANGEWOOD COMPLETE\nSTREETS PROJECT\nOrangewood Avenue and Santa Rosalia Street were evaluated to improve mobility,\nsafety, and connectivity. To support these improvements, staff pursued grant funding for\ndesign and construction. Staff recommends awarding a Professional Services Agreement\nto PSOMAS in the amount of $648,310.00.\nRECOMMENDED ACTION:\n1. City Council declare this project to be categorically exempt under the California\nEnvironmental Quality Act, Section 15378(b)(5) – Organizational or administrative\nactivities of governments that will not result in direct or indirect physical change in the\nenvironment; and\n2. Award a professional service agreement to PSOMAS for Professional Design\nServices for the Orangewood Complete Streets Project in the amount of $648,310.00;\nand\n3. Authorize the City Manager to bind the City of Stanton and PSOMAS in an Agreement\nto provide the services; and\n4. Authorize the City Manager to approve a contingency, in the amount of $64,831.00 to\nPSOMAS.\nStanton City Council Agenda
