REVIEW OF CITY POLICIES REGARDING COUNCIL-SUBMITTED AGENDA ITEMS\nAt the January 14, 2025 City Council meeting, Mayor Shawver requested to agendize an\nitem related to the process whereby the Mayor and/or Council Members can place an\nitem on a City Council meeting agenda. At its meeting of January 28, 2025, the City\nCouncil received consensus and directed staff to conduct research on the historical policy\nand procedures of the City of Stanton as well as those policies and procedures adopted\nby other cities.\nRECOMMENDED ACTION:\n1. City Council find that this item is not subject to the California Environmental Quality\nAct (“CEQA”) pursuant to State CEQA Guidelines Section 15060(c)(2)-(3), because it\nhas no potential to result in either a direct, or reasonably foreseeable indirect, physical\nchange in the environment, and is not a “project” as defined in State CEQA Guidelines,\nsection 15378\n2.
