10.\nRecommendation:\nStaff recommends the City Council:\nA. Authorize one new Police Captain\nposition\nSergeant position in the Police Department;\nB. Authorize one new Senior Planner\nAND\nand position\nCOMMUNITY\neliminate and one new Police Building\nInspector position and authorize the reclassification of one Principal Planner\nposition to a City Planner position in the Community Development\nDepartment; and\nC. Appropriate $\n194,000 in\nbuilding\npermit,\nbuilding\nplan\ncheck,\nand\ndevelopment review fees to support the staffing adjustments proposed for the\nCommunity Development Department.
