7.\nUpdated Traffic Calming Policy and Analysis of Alternative Speed Control Devices on\nCut-Through Streets\nRECOMMENDATION:\nThat the City Council:\n1. Adopts the next Resolution, in order, adopting a Traffic Calming Policy for the City\nof El Cajon, which incorporates speed cushions (recycled rubber and asphalt) as\nalternative speed control devices; and\n2. Authorizes implementation of a pilot project on identified cut-through streets.
