17.\nAPPROVE PURCHASE OF FOUR (4) LOW-EMISSION VEHICLES AND CHARGING EQUIPMENT FOR THE\nPOLICE DEPARTMENT UTILIZING SOUTH COAST AIR QUALITY MANAGEMENT DISTRICT (AQMD)\nFUNDING\nRECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the City Council:\n1. Approve the purchase of four (4) vehicles and electric charging equipment for the Police Department\nusing Air Quality Management District (AQMD) funds; and,\n2. Authorize the purchase of the four (4) vehicles utilizing Montebello Municipal Code Section 3.20.050(F) Cooperative Purchase, through Sourcewell Cooperative Contract #032824-OLA (Attachment B); and,\n3. Authorize the City Manager to execute all necessary documents related to the purchase of four vehicles\nand charging equipment; and,\n4. Amend the Fiscal Year 2025-26 budget by increasing appropriations by $200,000 in Account No. 24599-6082 (AQMD, Vehicle Purchases) and $45,000 in Account No. 245-99-6010.10 (AQMD, Machinery\nand Equipment); and,\n5. Take such additional, related action that may be desirable.
