9. 23-0938 Recommendation to authorize City Manager, or designee, to execute\nan agreement and any necessary documents or subcontracts including\nany subsequent amendments extending the grant term or increasing\nthe amount of the award, with the City of Los Angeles, Economic\nWorkforce Development Department (EWDD), to accept and expend\ngrant funding in an amount of $250,000, in 2023 High Road Training\nPartnerships (HRTP) grant funds, to provide services that lead to\nhigh-paying and sustainable employment, for the period of July 1, 2023\nto June 30, 2024; and\nIncrease appropriations in the Community Development Fund Group in\nthe Economic Development Department by $250,000, offset by grant\nrevenues.
