30. 23-1013 Recommendation to adopt Specifications No. R-7207 and award a\ncontract to New Dynasty Construction Co., of Tustin, CA, for construction\nof the Long Beach Police Training Academy Modular Replacement, New\nLocker Building, Renovations and Site Improvements Project for an\namount of $25,541,819, authorize a 6.5 percent contingency in the\namount of $1,660,218, for a total contract amount of $27,202,037; and,\nauthorize City Manager, or designee, to execute all documents necessary\nto enter into the contract, including any necessary amendments;\nIncrease appropriations in the Capital Projects Fund Group in the Public\nWorks Department by $2,000,000, offset by a transfer of $2,000,000 of\nPolice Facilities Impact Fees; and\nIncrease appropriations in the Capital Projects Fund Group in the Police\nDepartment by an additional $2,000,000, offset by Police Facilities Impact\nFees in the Capital Fund.
