2.\nAUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO INDIVIDUAL CONTRACTS WITH DUDEK AND MICHAEL BAKER INTERNATIONAL TO\nPROVIDE ON-CALL ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES FOR UP TO FOUR\nYEARS FOR AN AMOUNT NOT-TO-EXCEED $3,500,000 (Water & Power Dept.)\nRecommendation: It is recommended that the City Council:\n(1)\nFind that the proposed contract authorization is not a project subject to the California Environmental Quality Act (“CEQA”) Section 21065 of\nCEQA and Sections 15060(c)(2), 15060(c)(3), and 15378 of the State CEQA\nGuidelines, and as such, no environmental document pursuant to CEQA is required;\n(2)\nAuthorize the City Manager to enter into a contract as the result of the competitive selection process, as specified by Section 4.08.047 of the\nPasadena Municipal Code, with Dudek to provide on-call environmental services\nfor four years and in an amount not-to-exceed $1,750,000, which includes the base contract amount of $1,600,000 and a contingency of $150,000 to\nprovide for any necessary change orders. Competitive price bidding is not\nrequired pursuant to City Charter Section 1002(F) Contract for professional or unique services;\n(3)\nAuthorize the City Manager to enter into a contract, as the result of the competitive selection process, as specified by Section 4.08.047 of\nthe Pasadena Municipal Code, with Michael Baker International to provide on-call\nenvironmental services for four years and in an amount not-to-exceed $1,750,000, which includes the base contract amount of $1,600,000 and a\ncontingency of $150,000 to provide for any necessary change orders. Competitive\nprice bidding is not required pursuant to City Charter Section 1002(F) Contract for professional or unique services; and\n(4)\nAuthorize the City Manager to approve no-cost amendments to each contract including durational extensions.
