5.\nAUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH GLEN JOHN APRAMIAN MD INC., FOR VARIOUS MEDICAL\nSERVICES FOR UP TO FIVE YEARS FOR AN AMOUNT NOT-TO-EXCEED\n$1,500,000 (Human Resources Dept.)\nRecommendation: It is recommended that the City Council:\n(1)\nFind that the proposed action in the agenda report is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to CEQA\nguidelines Section 15061(b)(3) “Common Sense” exemption; and\n(2)\nAuthorize the City Manager to enter into a contract, as a result of a competitive selection process, as specified in Section 4.08.047 of the\nPasadena Municipal Code, with Glen John Apramian MD, Inc. DBA St. George’s\nMedical Clinic, for various medical services for a total amount not-to-exceed $900,000 over a three-year term with two one-year optional extension\nperiods. The value of each optional one-year extension period is not-to-exceed\n$300,000. Competitive bidding is not required pursuant to City Charter Section 1002(F), contracts for professional or unique services.
