9.I. Award of Contract to Waterline Technologies, Inc. to provide pool chemicals to\nGeorge Elder Pool and Cascades Waterfall\nIt is recommended that the City Council consider:\n1. Authorizing the City Manager to execute an agreement, in a form approved by the\nCity Attorney, for a three-year contract (with an option to extend for an additional two\nyears) with Waterline Technologies, Inc. in the amount of $64,124 per year to provide\nchemicals for George Elder Pool and the Cascades Park Waterfall; and\n2. Taking such additional, related, action that may be desirable.\nCEQA (California Environmental Quality Act):\nThe City reviewed the environmental impacts of the proposed activity pursuant to the\nCalifornia Environmental Quality Act (Public Resources Code §§ 21000, et seq. “CEQA”)\nand the regulations promulgated thereunder (14 Cal. Code of Regs. §§ 15000, et seq., the\n“CEQA Guidelines”). The proposed activity contemplates administrative actions of awarding\na contract for the purchase of chemicals needed to maintain George Elder Pool and\nCascades Waterfall, and does not contemplate any changes to the physical environment.\nAccordingly, no further environmental review is required.
