9.E. Police Department FY25/26 OTS STEP Grant\nIt is recommended that the City Council consider:\n1. Accepting grant funds and authorizing the City Manager, or designee, to execute an\nagreement, in a form approved by the City Attorney, with the Office of Traffic Safety\n(OTS) in the amount of $200,000 for the Selective Traffic Enforcement Program\n(STEP);\n2. Adopting a Resolution authorizing the City Manager, or designee, to receive and\nappropriate grant funds in fiscal year 2025-26, and execute an agreement, in a form\napproved by the City Attorney, with the OTS in the amount of $200,000 for the STEP;\nand\n3. Taking such additional, related action that may be desirable.
