34.\nForensic Pathology Services Master Agreement\nRecommendation: Authorize the Chief Medical Examiner to execute as-needed\nForensic Pathology Services agreements with qualified forensic pathologists,\nwith an initial five-year term, effective upon the date of execution, with two\none-year extension options, for a maximum term of seven-years. Authorize an\nannual cumulative expenditure of $800,000 over all existing agreements for\nas-needed forensic pathology services. Authorize the Chief Medical Examiner\nto execute amendments as necessary to add, delete and/or make\nnon-substantive changes to agreements, scope of work, terms and conditions,\nand/or make any changes as required by applicable laws and policies. Add or\nincorporate provisions consistent with applicable Federal, State or local laws,\nrules, regulations, ordinances and policies. Authorize deviations from County\nstandard provisions, including the indemnification provision when entering into\nsuch agreements, to conform with deviations previously approved by the Board.\nTerminate the agreements in accordance with the agreements’ termination\nprovisions, including termination for convenience.
