44.\nQuitclaim of Easement in the Unincorporated Community of Val Verde\nRecommendation: Acting as the Governing Body of the County Flood Control\nDistrict (District), find that the easement for a covered storm drain and\nappurtenant structures and ingress and egress purposes affecting Parcel\n1EXE.1 related to Private Drain No. 2298 Unit II-Line B, in the unincorporated\ncommunity of Val Verde (5), is no longer required for the purposes of the\nDistrict. Approve the project, which is the quitclaim of easement for a covered\nstorm drain and appurtenant structures and ingress and egress purposes\naffecting Parcel 1EXE.1 related to Private Drain No. 2298 Unit II-Line B, in the\nunincorporated community of Val Verde, from the District to the underlying fee\nproperty owner, The Newhall Land and Farming Company, a California Limited\nPartnership. Authorize the Chief Engineer of the District, to execute the\nquitclaim of easement document and authorize delivery to The Newhall Land\nand Farming Company.
