(16) 23-0002-S15 COMMUNICATION FROM THE CHIEF LEGISLATIVE ANALYST (CLA) and RESOLUTIONS relative to the Community Investment for Families Department (CIFD) 2023-2024 proposed legislative program. Recommendation for Council action, SUBJECT TO THE CONCURRENCE OF THE MAYOR: APPROVE the accompanying RESOLUTIONS, recommending legislative positions for the 2023-24 Federal and State Legislative Program, as submitted by the CIFD and attached to the Council file, to SUPPORT or SPONSOR legislation to: Increase protections for survivors of domestic violence. Increase funding for the City's children's savings account program. Increase access to child care and spaces for children. Increase flexibility for Community Development Block Grant spending. Expand eligibility for State benefits.
