(27) 22-1312 CD 3 MOTION (BLUMENFIELD - HERNANDEZ) relative to amending the Council action of December 2, 2022 adopting the Budget and Finance Committee report regarding “Tarzana Treatment Centers / Unarmed Crisis Response / Healthcare Services / People Experiencing Homelessness / Council District 3 / Unappropriated Balance Fund” (Council file No. 22-1312). Recommendations for Council action, SUBJECT TO THE APPROVAL OF THE MAYOR: AMEND the Council Action of December 2, 2022 adopting a Report of the Budget and Finance Committee relative to the the “Tarzana Treatment Centers / Unarmed Crisis Response / Healthcare Services / People Experiencing Homelessness / Council District 3 / Unappropriated Balance Fund” (Council file No. 22-1312), to adopt the following in lieu of the recommendations in the report: APPROPRIATE $1,250,000 from the 'Community Initiatives' line item in the Unappropriated Balance Fund No. 100/58 (Account No. 580335), to the City Administrative Officer Fund No. 100/10, Account No. 003040 (Contractual Services), for a mobile medical unit operated by the Tarzana Treatment Center to respond to calls for medical and mental health services from street engagement teams operating in Council District 3. INSTRUCT and AUTHORIZE the City Administrative Officer (CAO) to prepare, process and execute the necessary document(s), including a sole source agreement, with Tarzana Treatment Center, in the above amount, for the above purpose, for a term of one year, subject to the approval of the City Attorney as to form. AUTHORIZE the CAO to make any corrections, clarifications or revisions to the above fund transfer and contracting instructions, including any new instructions, in order to effectuate the intent of this Motion, and including any corrections and changes to fund or account numbers; said corrections / clarifications / changes may be made orally, electronically or by any other means.
