(11) 23-0427 CD 5 PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE REPORT relative to designating the intersection of Westwood Boulevard and Rochester Avenue as "WOMEN LIFE FREEDOM SQUARE" in memory of Mahsa Amini. Recommendations for Council action, pursuant to Motion (Yaroslavsky - Raman): RECOGNIZE the life and death of Mahsa Amini and the International Women Life Freedom Movement, by naming the intersection of Westwood Boulevard and Rochester Avenue as "WOMEN LIFE FREEDOM SQUARE" in memory of Mahsa Amini. DIRECT the Los Angeles Department of Transportation, with the assistance of other City departments as needed, and in consultation with Council District Five, to design and install the appropriate sign(s) at this location.
