(9) 23-0002-S71 CONTINUED CONSIDERATION OF RULES, ELECTIONS AND INTERGOVERNMENTAL RELATIONS COMMITTEE REPORT and RESOLUTION relative to establishing the City’s position regarding Senate Bill (SB) 423 (Wiener), to maintain the Coastal Zone exemption and provide an unconditional exemption for the Very High Fire Hazard Severity Zones. Recommendation for Council action, pursuant to Resolution (Park - Yaroslavsky - Lee), SUBJECT TO THE CONCURRENCE OF THE MAYOR: RESOLVE to include in the City's 2023-24 State Legislative Program SUPPORT IF AMENDED for SB 423 (Wiener), to maintain the Coastal Zone exemption and provide an unconditional exemption for the Very High Fire Hazard Severity Zones.
