(13) 23-1124 TRADE, TRAVEL AND TOURISM COMMITTEE REPORT and ORDINANCE FIRST CONSIDERATION relative to amending the Los Angeles Administrative Code (LAAC) to ensure the Living Wage Ordinance is in compliance with the recent Ninth Circuit Court decision, Airlines for America v. City and County of San Francisco, 78 F.4th 1146 (9th Cir. 2023). Recommendation for Council action, SUBJECT TO THE APPROVAL OF THE MAYOR: PRESENT and ADOPT the accompanying ORDINANCE, dated December 6, 2023, amending Section 10.37 of the LAAC to ensure the Living Wage Ordinance is in compliance with the recent Ninth Circuit Court decision, Airlines for America v. City and County of San Francisco, 78 F.4th 1146 (9th Cir. 2023). Fiscal Impact Statement: None submitted by the City Attorney. Neither the City Administrative Officer nor the Chief Legislative Analyst has completed a financial analysis of this report.
