(24) 23-0002-S84 RULES, ELECTIONS AND INTERGOVERNMENTAL RELATIONS COMMITTEE REPORT and RESOLUTION relative to establishing the City’s position regarding Assembly Bill (AB) 776 (Holden), which would require the California Department of Transportation to work with California tribes local to, or historically located along, State Route 210 and designate the highway as the Southern California Native American Freeway, and erect signage. Recommendation for Council action, pursuant to Resolution (Rodriguez - Blumenfield), SUBJECT TO THE CONCURRENCE OF THE MAYOR: RESOLVE to include in the City's 2023-24 State Legislative Program SUPPORT for AB 776 (Holden), which would require the California Department of Transportation to work with California tribes local to, or historically located along, State Route 210 and designate the highway as the Southern California Native American Freeway, and erect signage.
