(25) 23-0002-S85 RULES, ELECTIONS AND INTERGOVERNMENTAL RELATIONS COMMITTEE REPORT and RESOLUTION relative to establishing the City’s position regarding Assembly Bill (AB) 593 (Haney), which would require the California Energy Commission to identify an emission reduction strategy for the building sector. Recommendation for Council action, pursuant to Resolution (Hutt - Yaroslavsky - Blumenfield), SUBJECT TO THE CONCURRENCE OF THE MAYOR: RESOLVE to include in the City's 2023-24 State Legislative Program SUPPORT for AB 593 (Haney), which would require the California Energy Commission to identify an emission reduction strategy for the building sector.
