(27) 23-0002-S90 RULES, ELECTIONS AND INTERGOVERNMENTAL RELATIONS COMMITTEE REPORT and RESOLUTION relative to establishing the City’s position regarding legislation to abate benefit reductions for lived experience advocates in Supplemental Security Income or other programs when receiving compensation for providing services to better the homeless services delivery system. Recommendation for Council action, pursuant to Resolution (Blumenfield - Raman – Park), SUBJECT TO THE CONCURRENCE OF THE MAYOR: RESOLVE to include in the City's 2023-24 Federal Legislative Program SUPPORT and/or SPONSORSHIP of legislation to abate benefit reductions for lived experience advocates in Supplemental Security Income or other programs when receiving compensation for providing services to better the homeless services delivery system.
