(38) 23-1053 CD 8 MOTION (HARRIS-DAWSON - LEE) relative to funding for continuous beautification services in Council District Eight. Recommendations for Council action, SUBJECT TO THE APPROVAL OF THE MAYOR: TRANSFER and APPROPRIATE $1,320,000 in the AB1290 Fund No. 53P, Account No. 281208 (CD 8 Redevelopment Projects - Services) to the Board of Public Works Contractual Services Account Fund No. 100/74, Account No. 3040, for continuous beautification services as follows: Coalition for Responsible Community Development $150,000 Gang Alternatives Program $290,000 Los Angeles Conservation Corps $380,000 Los Angeles Neighborhood Initiative $500,000 AUTHORIZE and REQUEST the Board of Public Works to prepare, process, execute any documents for the above purpose and in the above amounts, subject to approval by the City Attorney as to legality. AUTHORIZE the Board of Public Works to make any corrections, clarifications or revisions to the above instructions, including any new instructions, in order to effectuate the intent of this Motion, including any corrections and changes to fund or account numbers; said corrections / clarifications / changes may be made orally, electronically or by any other means.
