(1) 23-0038-S2 HOUSING AND HOMELESSNESS COMMITTEE REPORT relative to a proposed Request for Proposals (RFP) to solicit qualified legal service providers to provide legal representation services for the United to House LA (ULA) Protections from Tenant Anti-Harassment Program. Recommendations for Council action, pursuant to Motion (Raman – Hernandez): AUTHORIZE the General Manager, Los Angeles Housing Department (LAHD), or designee, with the assistance of the City Administrative Officer (CAO), and other relevant departments, to prepare and release an RFP to solicit qualified legal service providers to provide legal representation services for the ULA Protections from Tenant Anti-Harassment Program. The RFP shall be subject to review and approval by the City Attorney as to form. DIRECT the LAHD to be responsible for assessing responses of the subject RFP and to submit results with recommendations to the Mayor and Council, including funding levels and Controller instructions. Fiscal Impact Statement: Neither the CAO nor the Chief Legislative Analyst has completed a financial analysis of this report.
