(15) 240341 CD 11 CATEGORICAL EXEMPTION and TRADE, TRAVEL AND TOURISM COMMITTEE REPORT relative to a proposed Second Amendment to Lease No. LAA8934 between the Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) and RPost US, Inc. at the LAWAowned Skyview Center, located at 6033 Century Boulevard. Recommendations for Council action: 1. ADOPT the determination by the Board of Airport Commissioners (Board) that the proposed action is categorically exempt from the requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Article III, Class 1(18)(c) and (e) of the City of Los Angeles CEQA Guidelines. 2. APPROVE a proposed Second Amendment to Lease No. LAA 8934 with RPost US, Inc. for 5,614 square feet of office space in LAWAowned Skyview Center, located at 6033 Century Boulevard, extending the term by 39 months from September 1, 2023 to December 31, 2026, resulting in net revenue of $416,318.77. 3. CONCUR with the Board’s action on December 7, 2023, by Tuesday Resolution No.16, - April 27853, 2024 authorizing - PAGE 15 Officer, the Chief Executive LAWA, or designee, to execute the proposed Second Amendment. APPROVE a proposed Second Amendment to Lease No. LAA 8934 with RPost US, Inc. for 5,614 square feet of office space in LAWAowned Skyview Center, located at 6033 Century Boulevard, extending the term by 39 months from September 1, 2023 to December 31, 2026, resulting in net revenue of $416,318.77. 3. CONCUR with the Board’s action on December 7, 2023, by Resolution No. 27853, authorizing the Chief Executive Officer, LAWA, or designee, to execute the proposed Second Amendment. Fiscal Impact Statement: The City Administrative Officer reports that the proposed Second Amendment to Lease No. LAA8934 between the LAWA and RPost US, Inc., will result in revenue of $416,318.77 over the 39month term of the lease extension after broker commissions and rent abatement are deducted. The lease revenue will be deposited in the LAWA Skyview Center Fund. The recommendations in the report comply with the LAWA’s Financial Policies. Approval of the proposed Amendment will have no impact on the City’s General Fund.
