(30) 24­0010­S4 MOTION (HARRIS­DAWSON ­ SOTO­MARTINEZ) relative to an offer of reward for information leading to the identification, apprehension, and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the death of Marquette Scott on December 3, 2023. Recommendations for Council action, SUBJECT TO THE APPROVAL OF THE MAYOR: 1. PROVIDE an offer of reward in the amount of $50,000 for information leading to the identification, apprehension, and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the death of Marquette Scott on December 3, 2023. 2. FIND that the subject reward complies with the provisions of Chapter 12, Article 1, Division 19 of the Los Angeles Administrative Tuesday Code. - April 16, 2024 - PAGE 25 1. PROVIDE an offer of reward in the amount of $50,000 for information leading to the identification, apprehension, and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the death of Marquette Scott on December 3, 2023. 2. FIND that the subject reward complies with the provisions of Chapter 12, Article 1, Division 19 of the Los Angeles Administrative Code. 3. DIRECT that the City Clerk publish the reward notices in the “Our Weekly”, “Los Angeles Sentinel” and “LA Watts Times” in addition to the regular publications used by the City Clerk for reward notices, to ensure adequate community notice.
