(15) 240062 CDs 1, 11 NEIGHBORHOODS AND COMMUNITY ENRICHMENT COMMITTEE REPORT relative to two Measure A grants for the Pacific Palisades Dog Park Project and the Sycamore Grove Master Plan. Recommendations for Council action, SUBJECT TO THE APPROVAL OF THE MAYOR: 1. AUTHORIZE the Department of Recreation and Parks (RAP) to submit two Measure A grant applications as reflected in the project list detailed in the February 29, 2024 L.A. For Kids Steering Committee report, attached to the Council file, to the County of Los Angeles Regional Park and Open Space District (RPOSD) under the Measure A Category 1 and Category 2 Annual Allocation Program. 2. AUTHORIZE the General Manager, RAP, to accept the Grant funds, if awarded, and execute the grant agreement with substantially the same terms and conditions as set forth in Attachment No. 2 for the grant amount, scope, and the grant performance period for each project described in Attachment No. 1, subject to the approval of the Mayor and City Council pursuant to Section 14.6(c) of the Los Angeles Administrative Code and approval as to form of the grant agreement by the City Attorney. The grant agreement, Attachments 1, and 2 are all part of the February 29, 2024 L.A. For Kids Steering Committee report, attached to the Council file. 3. AUTHORIZE the RAP, to make any technical adjustments to the Measure A applications as necessary to carry out the intent of the report. Friday - April 19, 2024 Fiscal Impact Statement: - The L.A. PAGE 14 reports For Kids Steering Committee that there is an anticipated General Fund impact in an amount not yet Angeles Administrative Code and approval as to form of the grant agreement by the City Attorney. The grant agreement, Attachments 1, and 2 are all part of the February 29, 2024 L.A. For Kids Steering Committee report, attached to the Council file. 3. AUTHORIZE the RAP, to make any technical adjustments to the Measure A applications as necessary to carry out the intent of the report. Fiscal Impact Statement: The L.A. For Kids Steering Committee reports that there is an anticipated General Fund impact in an amount not yet determinable for operations and maintenance costs since the facility is currently not in operation. These costs will be addressed through the City Budget process upon completion of the project.
