Recommendation for Council action: AUTHORIZE the General Manager, LADOT, or designee, to execute an amendment to Agreement C­135058 with Cambridge Systematics, Inc. to extend the terms of the contract by 6 months from January 26, 2024 to July 25, 2024, at no additional cost for the Code the Curb Program in Friday Downtown Los-Angeles. April 19, 2024 - PAGE 19 amend Agreement C­​135058 between the Los Angeles Department of Transportation (LADOT) and Cambridge Systematics Inc. for the Code the Curb Program, to extend the terms of the contract by 6 months from January 26, 2024 to July 25, 2024. Recommendation for Council action: AUTHORIZE the General Manager, LADOT, or designee, to execute an amendment to Agreement C­135058 with Cambridge Systematics, Inc. to extend the terms of the contract by 6 months from January 26, 2024 to July 25, 2024, at no additional cost for the Code the Curb Program in Downtown Los Angeles. Fiscal Impact Statement: The LADOT reports that there is no impact to the General Fund. The use of Cambridge Systematics, Inc. services is an allowable expense under the Strengthening Mobility and Revolutionizing Transportation (SMART) grant and is 100 percent reimbursable by the United States Department of Transportation (USDOT).
