(25) 24­0197 CD 4 TRANSPORTATION COMMITTEE REPORT relative to upgrading the signal equipment at the Barham Boulevard/Lake Hollywood Drive and the Barham Boulevard/De Witt Drive intersections as needed to modify the phasing and improve the traffic signal's operation, and related matters. Recommendations for Council action, pursuant to Motion (Raman ­ Hutt), SUBJECT TO THE APPROVAL OF THE MAYOR: 1. INSTRUCT the Los Angeles Department of Transportation (LADOT) to upgrade the signal equipment at the Barham Boulevard/Lake Hollywood Drive and the Barham Boulevard/De Witt Drive intersections as needed to modify the phasing and improve the traffic signal’s operation. 2. TRANSFER $50,000 from the AB1290 Fund No. 53P, Account No. 281204 (CD 4 Redevelopment Projects ­ Services) as follows: a. $22,000 to a new Account in the Transportation Trust Fund No. 840­94, entitled “CD4 Barham and Lake Hollywood Traffic Signal Upgrades” b. $28,00 to the Transportation Fund No. 100­94, Account No. Friday - April 19, 2024 - PAGE 20 001090 for Staff Design, Signal Timing, and Field traffic signal’s operation. 2. TRANSFER $50,000 from the AB1290 Fund No. 53P, Account No. 281204 (CD 4 Redevelopment Projects ­ Services) as follows: a. $22,000 to a new Account in the Transportation Trust Fund No. 840­94, entitled “CD4 Barham and Lake Hollywood Traffic Signal Upgrades” b. $28,00 to the Transportation Fund No. 100­94, Account No. 001090 for Staff Design, Signal Timing, and Field Implementation costs. 3. AUTHORIZE the LADOT to make any corrections, clarifications, or revisions to the above fund transfer and amendment instructions, including any new instructions, in order to effectuate the intent of the Motion, and including any corrections and changes to fund or account numbers; said corrections, clarification, or changes may be made orally, electronically or by any other means. Fiscal Impact Statement: Neither the City Administrative Officer nor the Chief Legislative Analyst has completed a financial analysis of this report.
