(30) 24­0310 The Council may recess to Closed Session, pursuant to Government Code Section No. 54956.9(d)(1), to confer with its legal counsel relative to the case entitled David Lew v. The City of Los Angeles, et al., United States District Court Case No. CV 20­10948 DDP (PLAx). (This case concerns allegations the City violated the Visual Artists Rights Act, 17 U.S. Code Section 106A, in connection with an exhibit at the Chinese American Museum.) (Budget, Finance and Innovation Committee considered this matter on April 17, 2024.)
