(28) 24­0488 RULES, ELECTIONS AND INTERGOVERNMENTAL RELATIONS COMMITTEE REPORT relative to revisions in requirements for filing Forms 700 (Statement of Economic Interests) and 60 (Restricted Source Financial Disclosure Statement), and completing government ethics training for Commission nominees. Recommendation for Council action, as initiated by Motion (Rodriguez – Krekorian): REQUEST​ ​ the City Attorney, with the assistance of the City Ethics Commission, to prepare and present the documents necessary to place on the November 2024 ballot a measure that would amend the City Charter to require nominees to City Boards and Commissions to submit Form 700 (Statement of Economic Interests) and Form 60 (Restricted Source Financial Disclosure Statement) or any successor forms as a qualifications and/or condition to their confirmation by City Council. Fiscal Impact Statement: Neither the City Administrative Officer nor the Chief Legislative Analyst has completed a financial analysis of this report.
