(11) 24­4118­S2 CD 3 RESOLUTION (BLUMENFIELD ­ DE LEON) relative to designating locations in Council District 3 for enforcement against sitting, lying, sleeping, or storing, using, maintaining, or placing personal property, or Wednesday - June 5, 2024 - PAGE 11 otherwise obstructing the public right­of­way, as further detailed in Los (LAST DAY FOR COUNCIL ACTION ­ JUNE 5, 2024) Items for which Public Hearings Have Not Been Held ­ (10 Votes Required for Consideration) (11) 24­4118­S2 CD 3 RESOLUTION (BLUMENFIELD ­ DE LEON) relative to designating locations in Council District 3 for enforcement against sitting, lying, sleeping, or storing, using, maintaining, or placing personal property, or otherwise obstructing the public right­of­way, as further detailed in Los Angeles Municipal Code (LAMC) Section 41.18. Recommendations for Council action: 1. RESOLVE, pursuant to Section 41.18 of the LAMC, to designate the following locations for enforcement against sitting, lying, sleeping, or storing, using, maintaining, or placing personal property, or otherwise obstructing the public right­of­way, up to the maximum distance and effective for the maximum period of time prescribed, and as further detailed in the LAMC: a. 18630 to 18823 Cantlay Street – Public Safety b. 7269 to 7213 Geyser Avenue – Public Safety c. 7201 to 7213 Capps Avenue – Public Safety 2. RESOLVE to direct and authorize the City department(s) with jurisdiction over the identified locations to post appropriate notices of the above prohibitions at these locations, and to begin enforcement upon the expiration of any required posting period.
