(12) 24­4118­S3 CD 11 RESOLUTION (PARK ­ PRICE) relative to designating locations in Council District 11 for enforcement against sitting, lying, sleeping, or storing, using, maintaining, or placing personal property, or otherwise obstructing the public right­of­way, as further detailed in Los Angeles Municipal Code (LAMC) Section 41.18. Recommendations for Council action: 1. RESOLVE, pursuant to Section 41.18 of the LAMC, to designate the following locations for enforcement against sitting, lying, sleeping, or storing, using, maintaining, or placing personal property, or otherwise obstructing the public right­of­way, up to the maximum distance and effective for the maximum period of time prescribed, and as further detailed in the LAMC: Wednesday - June 5, 2024 - PAGE 12 a. 720 Rose Avenue ­ Rose Apartments ­ Designated Facility Recommendations for Council action: 1. RESOLVE, pursuant to Section 41.18 of the LAMC, to designate the following locations for enforcement against sitting, lying, sleeping, or storing, using, maintaining, or placing personal property, or otherwise obstructing the public right­of­way, up to the maximum distance and effective for the maximum period of time prescribed, and as further detailed in the LAMC: a. 720 Rose Avenue ­ Rose Apartments ­ Designated Facility b. 851 Alma Real Drive ­ George Wolfberg Park at Potrero Canyon ­ Public Park c. 1835 Stoner Avenue ­ Stoner Recreation Park ­ Public Park d. 11820 San Vicente Boulevard ­ Donald Bruce Kaufman ­ Brentwood Branch Library ­ Public Library e. 1341 Lake Street ­ Penmar Recreation Center ­ Public Park f. 11811 Beatrice Street ­ Mesmer Avenue Community Garden ­ Public Park 2. RESOLVE to direct and authorize the City department(s) with jurisdiction over the identified locations to post appropriate notices of the above prohibitions at these locations, and to begin enforcement upon the expiration of any required posting period.
