(14) 23­0002­S133 CONSIDERATION OF RESOLUTION (DE LEON – RODRIGUEZ – ET AL.) relative to including in the City’s 2023­24 Federal Legislative Program sponsorship and support of any legislative and/or administrative action that would grant Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for Guatemalans and provide TPS benefits to all Guatemalans currently residing in the United States. Recommendations for Council action, SUBJECT TO THE CONCURRENCE OF THE MAYOR: 1. RESOLVE to include in the City’s 2023­24 Federal Legislative Program SPONSORSHIP and SUPPORT of any legislative and/or administrative action that would grant TPS for Guatemalans and provide TPS benefits to all Guatemalans currently residing in the United States. 2. INSTRUCT the City Clerk to transmit this Resolution to the President of the United States after it has been adopted by the Wednesday Council of the City - June of Los 5, 2024 - Angeles. PAGE 14 1.
