Recommendation for Council action, pursuant to Motion (de Leon – Park): Friday - June 21, 2024 - PAGE 19 REQUEST the Board of El Pueblo de Los Angeles Historical Monument (17) 24­0581 NEIGHBORHOODS AND COMMUNITY ENRICHMENT COMMITTEE REPORT relative to the lease of puesto P­04 (the "El Burro" donkey and cart visitor destination at El Pueblo de Los Angeles Historical Monument) to Maria Transito Hernandez, and the proposed addition of Patricia Josefina Hernandez and Richard Hernandez Chase to the lease, and related matters. Recommendation for Council action, pursuant to Motion (de Leon – Park): REQUEST the Board of El Pueblo de Los Angeles Historical Monument Authority Commissioners to: a. Immediately consider the lease of puesto P­04, leased to Maria Transito Hernandez, and the proposed addition of Patricia Josefina Hernandez and Richard Hernandez Chase to the lease, and make a recommendation as to further action. b. Consider the notarized document submitted on October 9, 2019 to the El Pueblo de Los Angeles Historical Monument as well as any additional correspondence between the El Pueblo de Los Angeles Historical Monument and the tenant when considering the lease of puesto P­04. Fiscal Impact Statement: Neither the City Administrative Officer nor the Chief Legislative Analyst has completed a financial analysis of this report.
