(30) 20­0508­S1 CD 11 ADMINISTRATIVE EXEMPTION and TRADE, TRAVEL AND TOURISM COMMITTEE REPORT relative to the First Amendment to a contract with SITA Information Networking Computing USA, Inc. for common use consolidation services in Terminal 5 and the Tom Bradley International Terminal at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). Recommendations for Council action: 1. ADOPT the determination by the Board of Airport Commissioners (BOAC) that this action is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Article II, Section 2(f) of the Los Angeles City CEQA Guidelines. 2. APPROVE the First Amendment to Contract No. DA­5446 with SITA Information Networking Computing USA, Inc. covering common use Friday - June 21, consolidation 2024 - in Terminal 5 and the services PAGE Tom37 Bradley International Terminal at LAX. Recommendations for Council action: 1. ADOPT the determination by the Board of Airport Commissioners (BOAC) that this action is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Article II, Section 2(f) of the Los Angeles City CEQA Guidelines. 2. APPROVE the First Amendment to Contract No. DA­5446 with SITA Information Networking Computing USA, Inc. covering common use consolidation services in Terminal 5 and the Tom Bradley International Terminal at LAX. 3. CONCUR with the BOAC action on February 1, 2024, by BOAC Resolution No. 27895, authorizing the Chief Executive Officer, Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA), or designee, to execute the First Amendment to Contract No. DA­5446 with SITA Information Networking Computing USA, Inc. Fiscal Impact Statement: The BOAC reports that there is no impact to the General Fund. The City Administrative Officer reports that approval of the proposed First Amendment to Contract DA­5446 for Consolidated Common Use Platform services with SITA will have no impact on the City’s General Fund. The amended agreement will incorporate the direct services that SITA previously provided to the Common Use Local User Board into the agreement between the LAWA and SITA. Additionally, the agreement will include a refund of $219,432 to SITA for Tariff payments made for space used to provide common use services on behalf of the LAWA. The proposed First Amendment complies with the LAWA’s adopted Financial Policies.
