(34) 16­1306­S2 ADMINISTRATIVE EXEMPTION and TRADE, TRAVEL AND TOURISM COMMITTEE REPORT relative to a contract with ABM Industry Groups LLC for property and facility management services at the Palmdale landholdings of Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA). Recommendations for Council action: 1. ADOPT the determination by the Board of Airport Commissioners (BOAC) that this action is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Article II, Section 2(f) of the Los Angeles City CEQA Guidelines. 2. APPROVE award of a three­year Contract, with two one­year renewal options, to ABM Industry Groups LLC covering property and facility management services at the Palmdale landholdings of LAWA, for overall cost not to exceed $11,742,000. 3. CONCUR with the BOAC action on February 1, 2024, by BOAC Resolution No. 27894, authorizing the Chief Executive Officer, LAWA, or designee, to execute said Contract with ABM Industry Groups LLC. Fiscal Impact Statement: The BOAC reports that there is no impact to the Friday General Fund.- June 21, 2024 The City - Administrative Officer reports that42 PAGE the LAWA indicates that the proposed three­year contract with ABM Industry Groups, facility management services at the Palmdale landholdings of LAWA, for overall cost not to exceed $11,742,000. 3. CONCUR with the BOAC action on February 1, 2024, by BOAC Resolution No. 27894, authorizing the Chief Executive Officer, LAWA, or designee, to execute said Contract with ABM Industry Groups LLC. Fiscal Impact Statement: The BOAC reports that there is no impact to the General Fund. The City Administrative Officer reports that the LAWA indicates that the proposed three­year contract with ABM Industry Groups, LLC, including two one­year renewal options, has a total not­to­exceed cost limit of $11,742,000 over five years. Funds for the contract are available in the Fiscal Year 2023­2024 LAWA Operating Budget in PMD Cost Center 1500005 ­ PMD Asset Management, Commitment Item 520 ­ Contractual Services and 104 ­ Assets. Funding for subsequent years will be requested as part of the annual budget process. Costs incurred under the proposed contract will be recovered through non­aeronautical revenues generated at Palmdale landholdings. The recommendations in the CAO report comply with the LAWA's Financial Policies. Approval of the proposed contract will have no impact on the City’s General Fund
