B.10. AMENDMENT TO INCREASE PROJECT CONTINGENCY FOR THE\n8305 SANTA MONICA BOULEVARD BUILD-OUT PROJECT [H.\nCOLLINS, P. TICUN, E. HAMANT]:\nSUBJECT: The City Council will consider approving Amendment No. 1 to\nthe Construction Agreement with PCL Construction Services, Inc. to\nincrease the project contingency amount from 20% to 25% for the 8305\nSanta Monica Boulevard Build-Out Project.\nRECOMMENDATIONS:\n1) Approve Amendment No. 1 to the\nConstruction Agreement with PCL Construction Services, Inc. to increase\nthe project contingency amount for the 8305 Santa Monica Boulevard\nBuild-Out Project from 20%, which is $346,468, to 25% by authorizing an\nadditional $86,618 for an updated total project contingency amount not to\nexceed $433,086 and a new total contract amount not-to-exceed\n$2,165,430; 2) Authorize the Facilities and Field Services Division\nManager to approve Change Orders to the Agreement; 3) Authorize the\nCity Manager, or designee, to execute all documents incident to the\nAgreement; and 4) Authorize the Director of Finance & Technology\nServices to transfer $86,618 in budget from savings in CIP 57-02\nHolloway Motel to CIP 40-03 8301 Santa Monica Boulevard.
