(8) 21­0956­S2 TRANSPORTATION COMMITTEE REPORT relative to clarifying that any and all vehicles that are stopped or parked in a peak hour travel lane or a “tow away no stopping any time” zone will be towed. Recommendations for Council action, as initiated by Motion (de Leon – Park – Lee): 1. INSTRUCT the Los Angeles Department of Transportation to tow away any and all vehicles that are stopped or parked in a peak hour travel lane or other area where a parked vehicle is creating an immediate public safety hazard. 2. CLARIFY that vehicles parked in these locations, as detailed above in Recommendation No. 1, are exempt from the City Administrative Officer’s (CAO) outreach strategy as detailed in Council File No. 22­ 1313. Fiscal Impact Statement: Neither the City Administrative Officer nor the Chief Legislative Analyst has completed a financial analysis of this report.
