8. CONSIDERATION AND APPROVAL OF AWARD OF A PROPOSAL TO\nRESURFACE THE OUTDOOR BASKETBALL COURTS AS PART OF CIP 2022-\n05 SALT LAKE PARK OUTDOOR BASKETBALL COURT\nRECOMMENDED THAT CITY COUNCIL:\n1. Award a contract to Ferandell Tennis Courts, Inc. (Attachment 1) for a not-to-\nexceed amount of $59,550;\n2. Authorize the appropriation of the entire State of California Department of Parks\nand Recreation grant amount of $74,346.95 as City staff seeks reimbursement of\nState funds as work progresses;\nCITY COUNCIL MEETING AGENDA\n3. Authorize staff to utilize the remaining balance of $14,796.95 to purchase three\nwater efficient drinking fountains and benches adjacent to the courts; and\n4. Authorize the City Manager to execute the proposal contract.
