(4)\n25-1011\nENERGY AND ENVIRONMENT COMMITTEE REPORT relative to the\nSecond Amendment to the Master Memorandum of Understanding\n(MOU) for Project Delivery and Service Needs with the City.\nRecommendations for Council action:\n1. APPROVE the Department of Water and Power (DWP) Board\nResolution authorizing the DWP to execute a Second\nAmendment to the Master MOU with the City to effectuate the\nfollowing:\na. Extend the term by an additional five years for a total of\nten years, from September 26, 2025 to September 25,\n2030.\nb. Increase the total cost for services by $20 million for a\ntotal not-to-exceed cost of $60 million.\nc. Add the Bureau of Street Lighting to the list of City\ndepartments and bureaus agreeing to provide services to\nDWP.\n2. AUTHORIZE, upon proper certification, the Chief Accounting\nEmployee to draw demands on the Water and Power Revenue\nFunds, in accordance with the terms of this Amendment to the\nMOU and Board Resolution.\nFiscal Impact Statement: The City Administrative Officer reports that\napproval of the Second Amendment to the Memorandum of\nAgreement with the City for project delivery and service needs may\nhave a potential revenue impact to the General Fund. Revenue is\ndependent on acceptance of DWP work. Approval of the proposed\nBoard Resolution and contract amendment will increase the not-toexceed cost for services by $20 million, from $40 million to $60\nmillion. Funding will available and budgeted as part of individual\nproject budgets in the Water and Power Revenue Funds. The\nrecommendations above comply with the DWP adopted Financial\nPolicies.
